Manifesto for Software Outsourcing
No Comments Distributed Agile Development, On Agility distributed agile, distributed teams, Nearshore, Outsourcing
I happened upon a website by a young man in Germany. It seems he’s been doing agile for quite awhile and delivering value mostly from outsourced teams. His name is Alexey Krivitsky and the website is .
What’s interesting is that he’s taken a page out of the Agile Manifesto and come up with a set of and that he believes underscores healthy outsourcing, off-shoring and near-shoring.
I’d encourage you to review them. And beating you to the punch, they’re a little extreme. What I mean by that is probably many of you will think that these are not implementable in the “real world” and Alexey is some sort of extremist.
But I truly encourage you to “look beneath” what he’s saying. I’ve personally done a lot of outsourcing and my greatest successes revolve around the principles and values he highlights.
Anyway, it’s food for thought that I thought I’d share. Stay agile my friends,
Bob.
