True Corruption of Agile
No Comments On Agility Corruption of Agile, Uncle Bob Martin
I wanted to share a blog post that I think is really important. .
I’ve been finding that people: organizations, teams, and individuals are caring less and less about the Extreme Programming practices when thinking about agile development. It’s as if the managers and project managers have taken over and we’re more concerned about story points, release planning, and predictability than anything else.
And while, yes, those things are important. The very foundation of the agile methods are a fundamental set of development practices that work seamlessly together to create an agile mindset and culture.
As Uncle Bob Martin points out, we may have lost our way and focus. I suggest a solid reading or two of his words. It might just help you to realign and re-find your way.
Stay agile my friends,
Bob.
