We’re excited to share that last week we completed construction on the newest Velocity Partners’ delivery center in Montevideo, Uruguay. Located in the downtown area of Montevideo, the new center was completed on Sept. 19 and includes 4,750 square feet of space – providing capacity for 73 employees. The building that houses the new center, called The London Paris building, was constructed in 1908. It was the first multi-story department store in Montevideo – a revolutionary concept at that time. The department store closed its doors in 1966 and the building has been used as office space ever since.

“Velocity Partners’ center in Montevideo provides us with a central and attractive location that helps to attract and retain the very best software development professionals in Uruguay,” said Pedro Minetti, general manager at Velocity Partners. “This additional capacity supports our continued growth in providing world-class distributed Agile software development.”
