Hi everyone,

This is another post in our Velocity Partners offshore software development company colleague spotlight series of conversations. The idea is to sit down with some of my Velocity Partners colleagues and to “talk shop” a bit. Getting to know their projects, interests, backgrounds, etc.

In this installment, we spend a little time with one of our senior leaders, Pedro Minetti. He is a very busy leader who comes to us from our Montevideo, Uruguay office. Listen in and get to know Pedro.

Pedro is the General Manager/Country Manager for both our Uruguay and Colombia offices. He had the wonderful opportunity to build our Montevideo team – virtually from scratch. And more recently, he’s begun guiding our efforts in Colombia as well.

Pedro began his career as a software developer, but quickly moved into project and client management roles while at Tata Consulting. As you’ll be able to tell in the interview, Pedro is incredibly experienced with developing and leading teams. He is a passionate and articulate leader who cares equally about our clients and our employees. And his leadership principles align well with our agile approaches.

Finally, we explore a bit of his personal background – especially how Pedro engages in competitive sports with his family and friends. All-in-all, it was a really nice chat.
