Trips Strengthen Relationships with Clients and our Own Teams
Members from Velocity Partners’ offices in South America visited clients in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Austin, Texas, and our South American offices welcomed our Senior Partners in addition to visitors from Kinnser and CoStar.
Recent travels include a trip to Pet360’s offices in Philadephia, a two-week visit to Gartner’s offices in Austin, and a visit to Kinnser’s offices, also in Austin, by the teams on each project. Working side by side with clients allows Velocity’s teams to develop stronger relationships than can be forged over the phone or video chats, said Pablo Maestri, a senior developer at Velocity who is working on the Kinnser project. Velocity Partners’ teams in Argentina also had the chance to get to know part of the Kinnser team, with a recent visit from Eileen Mauer, Kinnser’s Scrum Master.
Three of our partners took the opportunity to travel to South America recently. In Buenos Aires, Senior Partner Brian Estep met with our teams and with three visitors from the CoStar Group before having lunch with AccelOne, one of Velocity’s partners in Argentina. Meanwhile, Peter Stroeve and Steve MacMillan visited Colombia, where they noted the growth of a supportive office culture that is contributing to our teams’ successes.
